Whisper looking very proud with her first ever adult trophy!

Whisper has been at Dingwall today being handled by Linda Younie due to Becky being on holiday. I was speechless (first time in my 39 years) when Linda phoned to say she had won Best of Breed. At 13 months old too. Although the classes weren't big she did have competition. Huge thanks to Linda for taking her. Due to my ill health at the moment I couldn't be there. Gutted. Thanks also to Linda's kennel man, Raymond, your reward will be forthcoming once I feel better!! Thanks guys. Becky on cloud 99!!! Es x

Dundee Canine Club

Becky and Emma are away on their hols with their grandparents so Whisper was shown on Saturday 18th July by Marny Cruickshank. They entered Golden Retriever Special Yearling and were awarded a very credible reserve out of a large class. Poor Marny's hands were red raw with Madam pulling and huge thanks goes to her for carrying on. It has made me realise that Whisper and Becky are very much a unit. Whisper gave Marny a very hard time and looked all around the ring for me. If Becky shows her, Whisper ignores everyone else. I had to hide, which is a first! Thanks also to Carole King for her mobile phone updates and to Mandy Macdonald for her help getting Whisper into the ring when we got held up in traffic and nearly missed our class. Thanks also to Caitlin for being on stand by.

Banff, Moray & Nairn ,Match!

Tonight at Banff, Moray & Nairn Canine Club Whisper got reserve best in match!

Banff, Moray and Nairn Open Show

These photos were taken at the recent Banff, Moray and Nairn Open Show. Whisper was unplaced in the Breed ring but her and Becky won second in the Junior Handling ring. I had the day off as her Grandpa took them as it was so close to home. Her brother Moray was second in his class so the Moloko flag was still flying high.

This is late as I was waiting for the photos from the photographer.

This is Whisper's big brother Moloko Morangie (Moray).

Moray's hip score is a marvellous 3:3 (total 6) 0:0 elbows and a clear eye certificate.

Moray is a proven stud and is producing absolutely gorgeous chunky sturdy puppies of show quality. He is available at stud to approved bitches with clear eyes and low hip scores.

Keith Companion Show!!

Today we were at keith companion show and we had a very successful day!

Brodie (grandpa's dog) got fourth in golden veteran, second in waggiest tail & fourth in

oddest couple with whisper!

Whisper got fifth in AV puppy, fourth in dog in best

condition & her and becky got 1st in junior handler!

Sam Got 1st in waggiest tail, sam was also in the dog the judge would most like to take home, but never got placed! Thank you to both the judges!

Becky & Whisper are going to Crufts !!!!

We have had it confirmed by the Kennel Club today that Becky and Whisper's JHA win in Junior Handling class at SKC in May not only qualifies them for Richmond but also for Crufts 2010. A lot of excitement today.

Fun at The Beach

We were offered the use of a beach hut at Hopeman for the day and we took Eric and his Wife up on the offer. We had a brilliant day and the dogs just loved the water. Although it was really busy and the dogs were kept on their leads. even in the water, they had a ball and Whisper swam for the first time. She thinks she's lady muck and getting wet in public is not in her world. She loved it though and the photo of her head is her looking lovingly towards the sea. Sam is a water baby anyway and was in heaven. A great day out was had by all and the hut provided everything we could have possibly needed including a gas barbecue.
